2011 Enterprising Teacher of the Year Award

Are you, or do you know an outstanding educator who is teaching economics or financial literacy? Teachers who integrate these disciplines into other subjects will be considered. CCEE is accepting nominations for an inspiring teacher to receive a $2,000 award and recognition as a classroom leader. Nominees are judged by an impartial panel on the following criteria: 1) creative approaches to classroom instruction, 2) motivates students and creates enthusiasm for economics or financial literacy, 3) demonstrates appropriate (grade-level) knowledge of the subject, 4) expert in using a variety of teaching methods, strategies and resources, and 5) advocate for economic or financial literacy education.

Five the judging questions (see below.) to the nominee and please attach your contact phone number and email as well as the nominee’s contact information.  A panel of judges will review the nominee’s answers and determine a winner before the end of the current school year.  The winner will receive a $2,000 cash prize at an awards presentation.
