Economic Systems:
Lessons from
South Africa Educators
What do we mean when we use the word “globalization”? Join the discussion about
the challenges and opportunities of globalization. Attend this class to learn
from educators from the University of Johannesburg,
South Africa. We will
engage in a discussion about how different economic systems affect prospects for
growth. In addition, learn about how economic educators deal with the challenges
of teaching market economics in a political/economic environment that differs
substantially from that of the United States. Teachers will receive CEE’s
Focus: Globalization curriculum guide.
